What exactly is a comparison?
1 comparison = 1 line item (a treated 2x4x8, a 4x8 sheet of drywall, a container of paint) searched across our 17 Quebec retailers in a single click. If you paste a list of 20 lines, you use 20 comparisons. In return, you get 300 prices checked across Quebec in a few seconds. The quantity bought per line (5 units, 30 units, 100 units) does not count against your quota: that is what multiplies your real savings well beyond the per-unit price gap.
Why a quota and not unlimited use?
Every comparison has a data cost (search results, AI parsing). The quota lets us keep a fixed, transparent price without having to throttle heavy users. Most subscribers stay well under their monthly quota.
What is rollover?
If you do not use your whole quota in a month, you carry over up to 1× your monthly quota to the next month. Example: on Rénovateur (30 per month), if you use nothing in January, you start February with 60 comparisons available.
What is the Price Sharing Program?
You take a photo of your receipt after shopping. Our AI reads the receipt, validates each line, and gives you back 1 free comparison per line, up to 500 per month. It is our way of thanking you for helping the community know the real prices paid in store, including the member and contractor prices Google never sees.
Are there hidden fees or extras billed per item?
No. Everything is included in the subscription, with no overage packs or per-search fees. If you run out of comparisons, you have three options: (1) wait for the next cycle, (2) upload receipts to earn credits, or (3) move up to the next plan.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime, with no penalty. On a monthly plan, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current cycle. On an annual plan, you keep access until the end of the year you paid for. No reason required.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) via Stripe. Payment is secure and your card details never pass through our servers. For the Enterprise plan, Interac transfer or commercial billing are available.
